Subrata Bhattacharya and Soumya met in the late 90's in Muscat and the meeting set off a collaboration which culminated in the formation of the world music band, CrossOver which fused Indian classical and folk with blues, rock and jazz. The first album, Ripples, was recorded and published in 2013. The album featured a host of fantastic musicians from India and was critically acclaimed. Subrata and Soumya set up an independent music company in India, called 55DB, which encourages new talent.
